Airport Transfers

Getting to and from the airport is very easy. Taxis are plentiful immediately upon exiting the terminals (make sure you know which terminal you are flying out of -  terminal 1, or 2). There is rarely a line for taxis from the airport.

• A taxi will cost you around 60-80 euros* (plus or minus depending on the tip. Tip isn't a percentage, more kind of a "round up" and anything you want to give to reflect service). It is a 30-40 minute drive down the autobahn.

• Uber is now also an option and is slightly cheaper (40-45 euros*)  and there maybe be at least a 10-15 min wait.

• Public transport is excellent.  From the airport take the S-Bahn 8 to Frankfurt Hauptwache. Then from Hauptwache take the U3 to Oberursel Waldlust for access to the FIS Campus. This is the stop for the Park Hotel and school. The cost 5,60 euros one way and It takes about 45 mins to an hour depending on the wait at Hauptwache.  Use the RMV app or web page to plan your trip.  *See the map below for more details.

• Booking a taxi for your trip back to the airport. We can organize this for you. Please complete this form and we will call a local taxi company and have them pick you up from school on Friday afternoon.

Frankfurt Main Station Transfers

Getting to and from the main train station is also quite simple.  From the main train station, take the S-Bahn 5 in the direction of Bad Homburg and get off at the Oberursel Bahnhof. From there, you will exit the station and immediately come to the U-Bahn stop. Take the U-Bahn 3 toward Oberursel Hohemark and get off at Oberursel Waldlust for access to the FIS Campus.
